Minister of Justice and Attorney General
Law Reform Commission of Saskatchewan MLA for Saskatoon Northwest Gordon Wyant was first elected as the MLA for Saskatoon Northwest in an October 2010 by-election. He was then re-elected in the 2011 provincial election. Gordon has served the community in numerous roles and organizations over the last 25 years including the Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce, Past President of the United Way of Saskatoon and founding director of the Children’s Health Foundation of Saskatchewan. Since 2000, Gordon has also been an active public servant. He was elected as Trustee for the Saskatoon Public School Board in 2000 and served as Chair for two years. He was elected City Councillor for Ward 5 in 2003 and was re-elected in 2006 and 2009. Gordon has served on numerous committees of council including chairing the Planning and Operations Committee since 2006 as well as serving on two standing committees on the Federation of Canadian Municipalities. On May 25, 2012, Gordon was asked by Premier Brad Wall to serve as Minister of Justice and Attorney General and Deputy Government House Leader. Gordon and his wife Christine Hrudka have four adult children.

Law Reform Commission of Saskatchewan Député provincial de la circonscription de Saskatoon Northwest Gordon Wyant a été élu comme député de Saskatoon Northwest dans une élection partielle en Octobre 2010. Il a ensuite été réélu à l'élection provinciale 2011. Gordon a servi la communauté dans de nombreux rôles et organisations au cours des 25 dernières années, y compris la Chambre de commerce de Saskatoon, ancien président de la Centraide de Saskatoon, directeur et fondateur de la Fondation pour la santé de l'enfant de la Saskatchewan. Gordon a siégé à de nombreux comités du conseil, y compris la présidence du Comité de la planification et des opérations depuis 2006 et a siégé à deux comités permanents de la Fédération canadienne des municipalités. Le 25 mai 2012, Gordon a été nommé par le premier ministre Brad Wall au poste de ministre de la Justice et procureur général et leader adjoint du gouvernement.
