Web Browsers

The Government of Saskatchewan website is designed to be browser independent and should be usable to the public by all currently available web browsers.  If you are using a browser version that is more then 3 years old you may encounter difficulties in some pages.  We have provided a few links below that you can use to upgrade to the current version of several popular browsers. 

If you are experiencing difficulty and are not able to upgrade please use the "Feedback" link at the bottom of the page where you  encounter the problem so we can address the issue and get you the service you need as quickly as possible.


RSS Feeds

Some of our sites include the ability to subscribe to content that will be automatically sent to your computer as soon as it becomes available.  For assistance with setting up an RSS feed please visit our "What is RSS" page.


Plug-ins

Portable Document Format (PDF)

  • Some documents on this website are in Portable Document Format (PDF) and require an appropriate reader to view.  Adobe Acrobat Reader is freely availabe for download from the Adobe website.  We have provided a link on the right to access the latest version.

 

  • If you are not able to use Adobe Acrobat Reader you may be able to convert the PDF file to either HTML or Text format by using Adobe's PDF conversion tool.

 

Media Viewers

Real Player

  • You will require a minimum of RealPlayer G2 to view Real Video clips. If you do not have the required software, download the latest version of RealPlayer Basic from Real.com.

 

Windows Media

  • You will require a minimum of Windows Media Player 6.4 or later to view streaming Windows media clips. If you do not have the required software, download Windows Media Player from Microsoft.

 

QuickTime

  • Download Apple's free QuickTime Player to view QuickTime video, sound, animation, graphics, and text, files.  Versions are availabe for both PC and Mac computers.

 

Macromedia Flash

  • Download the free Adobe Flash Player to  be able to view Flash movies and other flash content in your browser.
