Description
  • Provides secretariat support and policy analysis to the Committee on Planning and Priorities, and to the Premier and members of Executive Council;

  • With support of Cabinet Planning staff, the Committee on Planning and Priorities formulates, coordinates, monitors and evaluates government initiatives;

  • Produces research and advice on long-range ministry, sectoral and inter-sectoral plans, and policy operational proposals;

  • Provides leadership and participates in inter-ministry and inter-agency working groups; and

  • Provides policy support for the development of the government's agenda and priority setting, as well as ministry strategic plans.
