Office of the Deputy Minister to the Premier

The Office of the Deputy Minister to the Premier:

• Supports the Premier in his role as Head of Government;

• Provides executive leadership for government;

• Provides a co-ordination function between government ministries, agencies, Crown corporations and Cabinet;

• Oversees the financial and human resource needs of the ministry;

• Co-ordinates the appointments of senior executives for ministries and certain agencies.
