DAVID AHENAKEW CHARGED WITH PROMOTING HATRED

Public Prosecutions, Saskatchewan Justice today announced that David Ahenakew has been charged with promoting hatred under section 319(2) of the Criminal Code.

The charges arise out of remarks made by Ahenakew in an address to a conference in December 2002.
