The Saskatchewan Archives Board is proud to announce the launch of its new website at www.saskarchives.com during Archives Week 2012 which occurs February 5 to 11.
"The Saskatchewan Archives Board has the responsibility of preserving important cultural resources," Minister responsible for the Saskatchewan Archives Board Bill Hutchinson said. "This new website will do much to further the accessibility of the history that they keep on our behalf - the history of our people and our province." "I am very pleased to launch a new era in how we offer services to researchers within our province and worldwide," Provincial Archivist Linda McIntyre said. "Now, more than ever, Saskatchewan's stories, history, events and treasures are at your fingertips to explore and enjoy."
