ASSISTANCE PROVIDED TO MENNO HOMES IN WALDHEIM

David Forbes, MLA for Saskatoon Idylwyld, on behalf of Social Services Minister Glenn Hagel, announced today the province is contributing $11,610 toward repairing the roof of an activity centre for Menno Homes in Waldheim.

"Social Services is working with Community Based Organizations around the province to ensure quality services and care to people with intellectual and physical disabilities. I am pleased the province is able to contribute to Menno Homes' needed repairs to the activity centre," Forbes said.

The Menno Homes activity centre serves the needs of people in the agency's residential program. The activity centre accomodates 29 mentally challenged people who regularly attend day program activities there.
