News Release - May 14, 2012 NEW SYSTEM IMPROVES CARE OF CHILDRENA new electronic case management system designed to keep track of children in care of the Ministry of Social Services is now up and running across the province. This new system, called Linkin, replaces the previous paper-based system and enhances services provided by the province's Child and Family Services Division, which works to protect children from abuse and neglect. "The safety and well-being of children is our top priority," Social Services Minister June Draude said. "This new system provides front-line workers with better access to information so they can spend more time working directly with at-risk children and families." Benefits of the new system include:
