News Release - November 23, 2010 SEVEN CITIZENS RECEIVE SASKATCHEWAN’S HIGHEST HONOURLieutenant Governor Dr. Gordon L. Barnhart invested seven people into the Saskatchewan Order of Merit in Regina today. "The Saskatchewan Order of Merit enables us to celebrate collectively the achievements of our most outstanding citizens," Barnhart said. "The newest members of the Order join a company of extraordinarily talented and committed individuals; each has created a lasting legacy that has benefitted the people of our province beyond measure." The Saskatchewan Order of Merit is the province's highest honour, recognizing individuals who have contributed significantly to the well-being of the province and its residents.
