PREMIER WALL CONGRATULATES PRIME MINISTER HARPER, SASKATCHEWAN MPS

Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall today congratulated Prime Minister Stephen Harper and his re-elected government.

"I look forward to continuing to work together with the Prime Minister and his government to build a stronger Saskatchewan and a more vibrant Canada," Wall said.

Wall also congratulated the 14 winning candidates in Saskatchewan.

"Our government is looking forward to working with Saskatchewan MPs on Saskatchewan priorities including joint efforts to ensure that Saskatchewan's economy continues to provide opportunities, not only for our own residents, but for all of Canada," Wall said.

Premier Wall also acknowledged the work of everyone who participated in the recent election campaign.

"From the returning officers to the candidates to the volunteers for all parties, everyone who is involved in an election gives up a little bit for the greater good of our country," Wall said. "In a world where peaceful elections would still be considered a near miracle in many nations, we should always remember the people who help make it happen and never take our proud democratic process for granted."
