MONTGRAND INQUEST

An inquest into the death of Jacqueline Marie Montgrand will be held April 12 through 14 and April 16, 2010, starting at 10 a.m. at the Travelodge Hotel in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

Montgrand, age 44 years, died March 18, 2008, at the Prince Albert Victoria Hospital.

Section 19 of The Coroners Act, 1999, states that the Chief Coroner may direct that an inquest be held into the death of any person. In addition to establishing who died, when and where the individual died, the medical cause of death and the manner of death, the coroner's jury may make recommendations to prevent similar deaths in the future.

Coroner Alma Wiebe, Q.C., of Saskatoon will preside at the inquest.
