News Release - June 5, 2008 SASKSMART INNOVATIONS FUND ACCEPTING PROPOSALSApproximately $900,000 is available to help Saskatchewan communities address literacy challenges through the SaskSmart Innovations Fund. The Literacy Office of the Ministry of Education will be accepting proposals for funding from organizations until June 23. The SaskSmart Innovations Fund assists communities in designing and implementing local Community Literacy Plans for family and workplace literacy. Two types of funding are available: Expressions of Interest Grants for developing Community Literacy Plans and contract funding for implementing Community Literacy Plans.
