The inquest into the death of Kenton Carnegie originally scheduled to be held February 5-9, 2007, has been re-scheduled to October 29 - November 2, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. at the Prince Albert Inn, 3680 2nd Avenue West in Prince Albert. Coroner Alma Wiebe of Saskatoon will preside at the inquest.
An inquest into the death of Kenton Carnegie will be held February 5-9, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. at the Prince Albert Queen's Bench Courthouse, 1800 Central Avenue.
Carnegie, aged 22 years, died on November 8, 2005, near Points North Landing in Northern Saskatchewan.
Section 19 of The Coroners Act, 1999, states that the Chief Coroner may direct that an inquest be held into the death of any person. In addition to establishing who died, when and where the individual died, the medical cause of death and the manner of death, the coroner's jury may make recommendations to prevent similar deaths in the future. Inquests are open to the public.
Coroner Alma Wiebe of Saskatoon will preside at the inquest.
