HAINEAULT INQUEST

An inquest into the death of Harry Haineault will be held October 18-22, 2010, commencing at 10:00 a.m. at Alliance Church in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan.

Haineault, age 38, died on September 2, 2008.

Section 19 of The Coroners Act, 1999 states that the Chief Coroner may direct that an inquest be held into the death of any person. In addition to establishing who died, when and where the individual died, the medical cause of death and the manner of death, the coroner's jury could make recommendations to prevent similar deaths in the future.

Coroner Alma Wiebe, Q.C. of Saskatoon will preside at the inquest.
