GOVERNMENT CONTRIBUTES TO HAFFORD SCHOOL PLAYGROUND DEVELOPMENT

The provincial government today provided the RM of Redberry with $13,000 from the Centenary Fund toward the $26,000 Hafford School playground development.

"This new playground development is an excellent example of the diverse ways that Saskatchewan people are partnering with government to build on the excellent quality of life in Saskatchewan," Government Relations Minister Ron Osika said. "The playground is a lasting legacy to mark our province's Centennial. Saskatchewan's future truly is wide open for all citizens."

"Children from the RM of Redberry and Hafford School have benefited from the partnership with the provincial government," Reeve Steve Grzybowski said. "We are happy to invest in our children through this project."

The Centenary Fund was set up to leave a legacy of Saskatchewan's Centennial for future generations. Leading up to the centennial celebrations in 2005, the government is funding projects that are of provincial or regional interest and develop municipal infrastructure.
