News Release - July 12, 2004 FOURTH ANNUAL \"DIALOGUE WITH SASKATCHEWAN\" BUS TOUR
Premier Lorne Calvert, along with members of his Cabinet and caucus, will be hitting the road this week for his fourth annual "Dialogue with Saskatchewan" bus tour, which departs Regina on July 14th.
As has been the tradition, the "Dialogue with Saskatchewan" bus tour will take the Premier to a number of communities across the province, where he and members of his government will have the opportunity to participate in events and speak with residents of the province about issues of importance, such as health care, agriculture, highways and economic development. "Each year, I look forward to meeting with people in their own communities and discussing issues they feel are important," Calvert said. "The bus tour has been incredibly valuable in allowing members of the government to hear firsthand the ideas and suggestions that the people of Saskatchewan have for their province." On the first week of the tour, the Premier will be traveling through the province's northwest, with stops in the Battlefords, Pelican Lake First Nation, Meadow Lake, Lloydminister, and Onion Lake First Nation. Joining the Premier on the first week of his road trip will be Highways and Transportation Minister Maynard Sonntag, Agriculture and Food Minister Mark Wartman, Government Relations Minister Len Taylor, Saskatoon Fairview MLA Andy Iwanchuk and Regina Walsh Acres MLA Sandra Morin. The second week of the "Dialogue with Saskatchewan" bus tour will take the Premier to the province's northeast from August 4th - 7th. -30- For More Information, Contact:
