"We are very pleased Ms. Meredith accepted our offer to lead SGC forward in the years ahead," Hutchinson said. "Ms. Meredith has close to 30 years of senior executive experience in the public sector and was acting President and CEO at SGC for 14 months."

In addition to her experience at SGC, Meredith held senior positions with Saskatchewan Justice and Saskatchewan Finance. She is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and recently was appointed as a Fellow Certified Management Accountant (FCMA) recognizing both her professional and community work.

Presently, Meredith serves as a Director and Chair of the Audit Committee for the Saskatchewan Roughriders; Director and member, Audit Committee Capital Pension Plan; Director, Regina Downtown Business Improvement District; Director, Canadian Gaming Association; and a member of the Chamber of Commerce. In addition, she has been a member of the Financial Executives International since 2002.

SGC's previous President and CEO Marty Klyne, resigned in 2008 to accept the position of publisher with the Regina Leader Post.

"After a Canada-wide search was conducted we were extremely pleased to find our new president and CEO from within the SGC organization," Hutchinson said. "Ms. Meredith has demonstrated the leadership and industry expertise required to lead SGC and we look forward to working closely with her."
