FIVE HILLS REGIONAL HEALTH AUTHORITY MEMBERS REAPPOINTED

Health Minister John Nilson today announced the reappointment of nine current members of the Five Hills Regional Health Authority board to a second three-year term.

"The health authority members, under the leadership of chairperson Dale Toni and vice-chairperson Elaine Mulatz, have served the community well since the creation of regional health authorities in 2002," Nilson said. "I am pleased that we can call upon them for three more years of service."

Reappointed to the regional health authority are:

· Dale Toni, Moose Jaw, chairperson
· Elaine Mulatz, Moose Jaw, vice-chairperson
· John Bumbac, Assiniboia
· Elizabeth Michalski, Moose Jaw
· Leslie Gray, Moose Jaw
· Jo-Anne Dusel, Moose Jaw
· Richard Kurz, Central Butte
· Donna Stang, Avonlea
· Marian Campbell, Moose Jaw

The appointments are in effect until July 2008. The authority is responsible for the planning, organization, delivery and evaluation of health services within the health region.

Nilson expressed thanks for past service to Louise Walker of Kincaid, who declined reappointment, and Tim Fox of Craik who had previously resigned. The vacancies will be filled in the coming months.
