News Release - March 28, 2005 CROP INSURANCE DEADLINE MARCH 31ST
Saskatchewan Crop Insurance reminds producers they have until March 31st to apply for, make changes to, or cancel their coverage for 2005.
"Crop Insurance offers insurance products and options to create coverage specific to the needs of individual producers," Saskatchewan Crop Insurance general manager Stan Benjamin said. "Staff can assist customers in making their risk management decisions for the upcoming year, protecting annual cereal, forage, organic and diversified crops." Crop Insurance customers received their insurance packages at the beginning of March, containing complete 2005 program information as well as their personal coverage and premium information. Crop Insurance contracts are continuous; unless changes are made by March 31st, a customer's 2004 selections will remain the same for 2005. New customers are asked to contact Crop Insurance as soon as possible but in all cases before March 31st.
