PRELIMINARY AUTOPSY REPORT ON IN-CUSTODY DEATH RELEASED

On April 12, 2008, at approximately 10:10 p.m., 47 year old Scott Norman Schwager was found dead in a cell at the Regina Police Service detention centre.

Chief Coroner Kent Stewart confirmed that an autopsy was completed which showed no indications of injury or foul play. The exact cause of death is pending the results of further tests including microscopy and toxicology.
