PELLETIER INQUEST

An inquest into the death of Delbert Kenneth Pelletier will be held June 2 to 6, 2008, at 8:30 a.m. at the Bingo Hall on the Muskowekwan First Nation.

Mr. Pelletier, aged 44 years, died November 13, 2006, on the Muskowekwan First Nation.

Section 19 of The Coroners Act, 1999, states that the Chief Coroner may direct that an inquest be held into the death of any person.

In addition to establishing who died, when and where the individual died, the medical cause of death and the manner of death, the coroner's jury may make recommendations to prevent similar deaths in the future.

Coroner Alma Wiebe, Q.C. of Saskatoon will preside at the inquest.
