TEMPORARY CEASE TRADE ORDER ISSUED

The Securities Division of the Saskatchewan Financial Services Commission (SFSC) issued a temporary cease trade order September 25, 2009, against The Castleton Group ("Castleton"), Beltway M& A ("Beltway"), Joshua Stevens, Patrick Thompson, Vick Newman, Daniel Greco and Jim Young. The order expires on October 9, 2009, and may be extended.

Castleton, Beltway and the individuals, none of which is registered in Saskatchewan to trade or give advice about securities, are ordered to cease trading and advising in securities and exchange contracts in Saskatchewan.

Beginning in June 2009, Castleton and its representatives contacted Saskatchewan investors with offers to purchase shares already owned by certain Saskatchewan investors, at an inflated price. Before receiving payment for the shares, the investors were first required to wire thousands of dollars to company bank accounts as a "Securities Authentication Deposit".

Beltway and its representatives contacted investors in Saskatchewan as late as September 24, 2009, and offered an identical opportunity. Both these companies purport to be situated in Hong Kong, China.

"These types of transactions are often referred to as advance fee schemes or reload scams," SFSC Deputy Director Ed Rodonets said. "In several cases we have investigated, after the initial money has been sent, the investor is pressured to send even more money to assure the delivery of the full purchase price. Typically, once this deposit fee is paid, the buyer never follows through with the purchase."

A copy of the Cease Trade Order may be found on-line at www.sfsc.gov.sk.ca/ssc under "Enforcement Orders".

The SFSC received assistance with this investigation from the Manitoba Securities Commission.

The SFSC protects investors by regulating trading in securities in Saskatchewan. Securities are forms of investment such as stocks, bonds and units in mutual funds.
