REPORT ON LOSSES TABLED – HEALTH SYSTEM

The second-quarter report on losses of public money within Saskatchewan regional health authorities (health regions) and the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency has been tabled with the Standing Committee on Public Accounts.

The report includes matters reported to the Ministry of Health in the second quarter of the current fiscal year (July 1 to September 30, 2011).

The Ministry of Health began the process of reporting these losses in January in keeping with similar reporting by the provincial government of losses within ministries and Crown corporations.
