CONDOLENCES TO RCMP CONSTABLE DEREK PINEO’S FAMILY AND COLLEAGUES FROM THE MINISTER RESPONSIBLE FOR CORRECTIONS AND POLICING

On behalf of Premier Wall, my colleagues in the Legislature and the people of Saskatchewan, I wish to express my deepest condolences to the family of RCMP Constable Derek Pineo who died while on duty.

We take great pride in the fact that Saskatchewan is considered the home of the RCMP and its members are an important part of the fabric of our communities. As a result, a tragedy such as this is felt by every one of us.

The people of Saskatchewan recognize and appreciate the dedicated members of the RCMP and other police services who work hard to make our province a safer place to live.
