News Release - June 24, 2011 ANNOUNCEMENT OF CHANGES TO SENIOR PUBLIC SERVICEDeputy Minister to the Premier Doug Moen has announced two changes in the senior leadership of the Saskatchewan Public Service. Robert Guillaume has been appointed Deputy Minister of the Information Technology Office effective July 01, 2011. Robert is currently the Assistant Deputy Minister and Chief Technology Officer with ITO and brings extensive experience in the information technology industry from both the public and private sector. "I want to thank the outgoing Deputy Minister, Gerald Fiske, for providing strategies and solutions for a more strategic and enterprise focused government and I wish him well with his retirement," Moen said. Cheryl Senecal, Assistant Deputy Minister with the Ministry of Education has been asked to serve as the Acting Deputy Minister with the Ministry of Education effective August 01, 2011. Cheryl has served in a variety of roles in the Ministries of Social Services, Advanced Education, Employment and Labour, as well as the Ministry of Labour and the Women's Secretariat. During the time Audrey Roadhouse served as the Deputy Minister of Education, considerable work was done on the funding of education and addressing student achievement. "I would like to thank Audrey for her contributions to the education system, government and the province of Saskatchewan," Moen said.
