PRINCE ALBERT PARKLAND REGIONAL HEALTH AUTHORITY MEMBERS REAPPOINTED

Health Minister John Nilson today announced the reappointment of the 12 current members of the Prince Albert Parkland Regional Health Authority to a second three-year term.

"The health authority members, under the leadership of hairperson Ray Ewanchuk and vice-chairperson Howard Gange, have served the community well since the creation of regional health authorities in 2002," Nilson said. "I am pleased that we can call upon them for three more years of service."

Reappointed to the regional health authority are:

· Ray Ewanchuk, Whitkow, chairperson
· Howard Gange, Christopher Lake, vice-chairperson
· Larry Hill, Prince Albert
· Patricia Leson, Prince Albert
· Philip Morin, Prince Albert
· Lorraine Saam, Shellbrook
· Irene Attrux, Hafford
· Jack Boechler, Spiritwood
· Cecile O'Neil, Big River
· Brenda Green, Prince Albert
· Angelique Haysom, Prince Albert
· Lionel Ferguson, Prince Albert

The appointments are in effect until July 2008. The authority is responsible for the planning, organization, delivery and evaluation of health services within the health region. There are no vacancies on the regional health authority.
