Highways and Infrastructure Minister Wayne Elhard reminds motorists to be aware of new and ongoing projects when travelling this weekend and to drive safely.
"Plan the best, most efficient and safest route by taking this work into account," Elhard said. "Also, please slow to 60 km/h when passing highway workers and equipment, be alert and be prepared to stop as directed."

Highway 3
- Construction is underway on Highway 3 from its junction with Highway 26 at Turtleford to 18 kilometre (km) east. Traffic may be reduced to one lane through the construction area.
Highway 4
- Micro-surfacing is underway on Highway 4 from its junction with Highway 7 at Rosetown to 5 km south. Traffic will be reduced to one lane through the construction area.
Highway 26
- About 15 km of construction is taking place on Highway 26 starting 14 km north of St. Walburg and heading north. Traffic may be reduced to one lane through the construction area.
Highway 49
- Micro-surfacing is underway on Highway 49 from its junction with Highway 8 at Pelly to 14 km northeast. Traffic will be reduced to one lane through the construction area.
Highway 155
- Traffic will be reduced to one lane while work is done on the Beaver River Bridge on Highway 155, which is 26 km north of the junction of Highway 155 and Highway 55 at Green Lake.
Beatty Lake Access Road near Highway 155
- A temporary detour is in place on the Beatty Lake Access Road 1 km west of its junction with Highway 155, north of Green Lake while a new drainage structure is being installed through the access road. Traffic will be reduced to one lane through the detour area.
Highway 339 and the Briercrest Access
- Surfacing is taking place from 12 km to 9 km south of the Briercrest Access. Traffic may be reduced to one lane through the construction area.
- Surfacing is taking place on the Briercrest Access. Traffic may be reduced to one lane through the construction area.
- Surfacing is taking place from 6 km to 14 km north of the Briercrest Access. Traffic may be reduced to one lane through the construction area.
Highway 365
- About 1.5 km of Highway 365 near Manitou Beach will be closed while construction takes place. A temporary detour is in place.
