CAREERS, DREAMS AND OPPORTUNITIES – RIGHT HERE IN SASKATCHEWAN

Job seekers and employers are once again being encouraged "go where the jobs are" by visiting www.saskjobs.ca.

A new marketing campaign that will run in Alberta and Saskatchewan for four weeks begins today.

"We're promoting our opportunities - and way of life - to road-weary, time-squeezed Albertans who are ready to enjoy a little more life and a lot less stress," Advanced Education and Employment Minister Warren McCall said. "At the same time, we're promoting www.saskjobs.ca, which is an invaluable resource to job-seekers and employers right here at home."

The $300,000 campaign features testimonials from Saskatchewan residents who have built a life - and a future - in Saskatchewan. Job seekers in Alberta and Saskatchewan will be invited to explore opportunities at SaskJobs, the province's largest job-matching website.

At the same time, the Province will engage employers across Saskatchewan, encouraging them to utilize this free service.

SaskJobs will be promoted on billboards, newspapers, public transit and radio across Alberta. Additionally, Albertans will have the option to ask questions about living and working in Saskatchewan by calling 1-877-9SKJOBS - a new toll-free service created to form a single location for inquiries.

Saskatchewan viewers will see the campaign on billboards and in newspapers.

"We're no longer Canada's best-kept secret," McCall said. "The secret is out - Saskatchewan is the greatest place to live, work and raise a family!"
