PROVINCE ANNOUNCES TOP 10 FOR BEST SUMMER JOB EVER

Tourism, Parks, Culture and Sport is pleased to announce its top 10 candidates for the Saskatchewanderer summer job.

The top candidates include film, journalism and marketing students who all share a passion for Saskatchewan.

"We are extremely pleased with our top candidates," Tourism, Parks, Culture and Sport Minister Bill Hutchinson said. "We believe every one of them has the ability to showcase Saskatchewan with enthusiasm and a positive attitude. They are all adventurers, with a true love for our province."

More than 60 people applied to be the Saskatchewanderer - a summer student position that will include travel around the province this summer blogging through video, photos and written journal entries about everything Saskatchewan has to offer.

The ministry selected the top 10 and now the public will ultimately choose their Saskatchewanderer.

"The response to this pilot project has been incredible so far," Hutchinson said. "We received so many great applications and I can't wait to see who the public chooses to tell Saskatchewan's story."

The first round of voting begins on March 23. The public will be able to vote with their Facebook account.
