SASKATOON REGIONAL HEALTH AUTHORITY MEMBERS REAPPOINTED

Health Minister John Nilson today announced the reappointment of the 12 current members of the Saskatoon Regional Health Authority to a second three-year term.

"The health authority members, under the leadership of chairperson Darlene Eberle and vice-chairperson Carol Teichrob, have served the community well since the creation of regional health authorities in 2002," Nilson said. "I am pleased that we can call upon them for three more years of service."

Reappointed to the regional health authority board are:

· Darlene Eberle, Humboldt, chairperson
· Carol Teichrob, Saskatoon, vice-chairperson
· Eric Braun, Saskatoon
· Marjory Gammel, Saskatoon
· Keith Thomson, Riverside Estates
· Audrey Ahenakew, Saskatoon
· Kelly Block, Waldheim
· Karen Raycroft, Wynyard
· Steven Tokarski, Watson
· Cathy Sproule, Saskatoon
· Douglas Finnie, Saskatoon
· Archie La Rocque, Saskatoon

The appointments are in effect until July 2008. The authority is responsible for the planning, organization, delivery and evaluation of health services within the health region. There are no vacancies on the regional health authority board.
