News Release - April 27, 2007 UPGRADES TO MOOSE JAW AREA SCHOOLThe Government of Saskatchewan is investing an estimated $155,000 for roofing upgrades to Riverview Collegiate Institute in Moose Jaw. “Support for these school improvement projects demonstrate our continued commitment to work with school divisions to provide healthy, comfortable and well equipped learning environments for Saskatchewan students,” Saskatchewan Learning Minister Deb Higgins said. “We are investing in schools, in students and in the future of Saskatchewan.” The projects announced today are part of the Government of Saskatchewan’s investment of approximately $6 million to improve the learning environment in 40 Saskatchewan schools. These include improvements such as roof replacement and restoration, mechanical system upgrades, renovations, additions and portable classrooms, as well as preliminary planning funding.
