COMMUNITY RESOURCES INVESTIGATES FINANCIAL IRREGULARITY

The Department of Community Resources is currently investigating a case involving financial irregularity.  Based on preliminary results of an internal audit investigation, the total amount involved is estimated to be approximately $26,000.

The Provincial Comptroller and the Provincial Auditor’s offices have been notified.  They will have full access to Community Resources’ records for review.  The Regina Police Service has also been contacted. 

One employee has been dismissed.
