NEW APPOINTMENT TO SASKATCHEWAN REVIEW BOARD

Floralyn Wessel of Regina has been appointed to the Saskatchewan Review Board.

“Ms. Wessel’s extensive nursing background will make her a valuable asset to the Board,” Justice Minister Frank Quennell said.

The Saskatchewan Review Board is an independent administrative tribunal established under the Criminal Code of Canada.  The Board makes or reviews decisions regarding the placement of persons found under the Code to be unfit to stand trial by reason of insanity or not guilty by reason of insanity.
 
Other members of the Saskatchewan Review Board are the Honourable Mr. Justice Peter Foley, His Honour Judge Hugh Harradence, Kenneth McKay, Q.C., Dr. Colin Smith, Dr. Robin Menzies, Sheila Clements and Dr. Mansfield Mela.
