MORE GROUPS FOR H1N1 VACCINATIONS ANNOUNCED

The H1N1 flu vaccination campaign will be expanded the week of November 23 to include all people in Saskatchewan.

"The Regional Health Authorities are all planning on opening the flu clinics to everyone next Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday depending on their schedule," Saskatchewan's Deputy Chief Medical Health Officer Dr. Saqib Shahab said. "Please remember these clinics will be open through to mid December so there is plenty of time for people to get their vaccination."

An additional 66,500 doses are expected to be received on Monday Nov. 23, bringing the total to 386,900 doses received to date. When this vaccine is used, it will mean approximately 40 per cent of the population will have been vaccinated against H1N1 flu.
