CONDOLENCES EXTENDED TO CALVERT FAMILY

On behalf of the Government of Saskatchewan, Deputy Premier Clay Serby today extended condolences to Premier Lorne Calvert and his family on the passing of the Premier's mother, Mrs. Beulah Calvert of Moose Jaw, over the weekend.

"Our hearts and prayers are with the Calvert family as they deal with the loss of this truly remarkable lady from their lives," Serby said. "Mrs. Calvert was an individual whose strength and courage was inspirational to those lives she touched over her lifetime. She will be missed by all who knew her."

Mrs. Calvert, 83, was a lifelong resident of Saskatchewan. She was predeceased by her husband, Ab, in 1982.

Following a private family service of thanksgiving those wishing to join the Calvert's in remembering and celebrating her life are invited to a reception at Zion United Church, 423 Main St. N., Moose Jaw 2:30 to 4:30 on Thursday, August 31.

In lieu of flowers, the family sincerely requests that memorial donations be made to Trinity United Church, 277 Iroquois St. West, Moose Jaw.
