CROP INSURANCE CUSTOMERS TO REPORT SEEDED ACRES

With seeding nearing completion, Saskatchewan Crop Insurance reminds producers the deadline to submit their seeded acreage reports is June 25th.

"Saskatchewan Crop Insurance uses seeded acreage report information to determine which acres are insured, premiums and coverage on those acres, and to process any claims," Deputy Premier and Agriculture, Food and Rural Revitalization Minister Clay Serby said. "By keeping their coverage up-to-date, Crop Insurance customers will manage their risk throughout the growing season."

Endorsed crops that have been seeded must be reported by June 25th. Customers must also submit their seeded acreage reports before being eligible to receive the remainder of their loan under the Spring Credit Advance Program.

Seeded acreage report forms were mailed to producers at the end of May. Completed forms may be submitted by phone, fax, and mail or by delivery at any Saskatchewan Crop Insurance Corporation customer service office.
