PREMIER CALVERT HEADING TO RURAL SASKATCHEWAN FOR ANNUAL BUS TOUR

Premier Lorne Calvert is taking the sixth edition of his annual "Dialogue with Saskatchewan" bus tour to rural Saskatchewan.

"My government is focused on building a better future right here for Saskatchewan people," Calvert said. "Saskatchewan families, businesses and farmers have been working hard to benefit from our strong economy. The highlight of the bus tour is for me to hear from Saskatchewan people about their issues, concerns and dreams for our province."

Week one of the tour starts on June 13th in Prince Albert, and will include stops at Debden, The Battlefords, Saulteaux First Nation, Lloydminster, Island Lake First Nation, Pierceland, Big Island Lake (Joseph Bighead) Cree Nation, Maidstone and Cut Knife.

Accompanying Premier Calvert on the bus for week one will be Highways and Transportation Minister Eldon Lautermilch, Healthy Living Services Minister Graham Addley, First Nations and Métis Relations Minister Maynard Sonntag, Learning Minister Deb Higgins, Health Minister Len Taylor, Regina Walsh Acres MLA Sandra Morin and Regina Elphinstone-Centre MLA Warren McCall.

The second week of the tour will begin on July 18th and will travel to communities in the central and northeast rural areas of the province with details being announced in early July.
