News Release - June 13, 2011 ENTERPRISE SASKATCHEWAN CONGRATULATES VOLTA AWARD WINNEREnterprise Saskatchewan congratulates Kip Simon of 22Fresh on winning the Saskatchewan Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs (SYPE) Volta Award at the SYPE Silver Spades Awards Gala on Saturday, June 11 in Regina. The SYPE Volta Award honours excellence in youth entrepreneurship in the province and comes with a $5,000 cash prize, sponsored by Brooks Findlay of Rock Bridge Realty Ltd. "Our province's young entrepreneurs are innovative and talented individuals who are growing Saskatchewan's economy and driving the future of this province," Enterprise Minister Jeremy Harrison said. "We congratulate Kip Simon and 22Fresh on winning this prestigious award." Incorporated in 2010, 22Fresh is known for their unique baseball pants and lifestyle apparel that has been sold to individuals and teams in every Canadian province, U.S. state and five countries overseas, and has generated endorsement deals with dozens of professional athletes, including Major League Baseball first-round draft picks Bryce Harper and Yasmani Grandal. The SYPE Volta award competition is sponsored by SYPE, Enterprise Saskatchewan, Rock Bridge Realty Ltd. And Rawlco Radio.
