Nearly 10,000 people each year take part in government funded family literacy programs and services delivered by partners across the province including the Saskatchewan Literacy Network (SLN) and the Saskatchewan Aboriginal Literacy Network (SALN), community organizations and libraries. “I encourage you to take some time today and everyday to read and learn with your children,” Marchuk said. “By spending quality time together reading, you can help your child build a love for learning to last their whole life.” For more information about Family Literacy Day and literacy initiatives in Saskatchewan, visit the SLN website at www.sk.literacy.ca or the SALN website at http://saln.ca/programsandservices/aboriginal-family-literacy. -30- For more information, contact: Leya Moore Related Documents
