Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week is recognized nationally by the Canadian Home and School Federation as a way to increase awareness of the important role teachers and staff play in educating Canada's youth. This year, the Saskatchewan Association of School Councils (SASC) will celebrate their theme, Intertwining Energies, in communities throughout the province with a variety of activities. This marks the twenty-third consecutive year that the province has celebrated Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week and the important contributions of Saskatchewan teachers and support staff. -30- For more information, contact:
