ADDITIONAL ANTLERLESS MULE DEER LICENCES AVAILABLE

Two thousand, nine hundred and fifty antlerless mule deer licences are available for purchase
beginning September 15, 2009. The licences were originally made available through the Big
Game Draw but were not allocated due to lack of applicants.

Licences are available for 22 different wildlife management zones including: 1 to 3; 5 to 9; 11
to 14; 18; 23; 25; 27 to 30; 46; 47 and Saskatoon Wildlife Management Zone. Quantities are
limited in each zone and will be available on a first come - first served basis.

Antlerless mule deer licences are $19.62 each and are only available to Saskatchewan
residents. Hunters also need a $10.79 Wildlife Habitat Certificate before they can purchase a
licence.

Licences must be purchased in person at Ministry of Environment field offices in Kindersley,
Leader, Lloydminster, Maple Creek, Moose Jaw, Outlook, North Battleford, Regina, Saskatoon,
Shaunavon, Swift Current and Cypress Hills Provincial Park.

The licences are valid during the regular seasons and hunters may use those firearms that the
season allows including archery, muzzleloader or rifle. The bag limit is two deer for each
licence.

Hunters are encouraged to turn in deer heads to local ministry field offices for Chronic Wasting
Disease testing. There is no charge for the test.
