"The practice log incentive program encourages all learner drivers to gain the valuable driving experience they need prior to trying for their licence," Minister responsible for SGI June Draude said. "History shows us that learner drivers with more in-car experience develop safer driving habits, thus keeping our roads safer. Learners with more experience are often more successful in passing their road test on the first try."
To be eligible for the 2010 reward program, learner drivers must submit their practice log with 36 hours completed to the driver examiner at the time of their road test or mail it to SGI.
