SASKATCHEWAN ENVIRONMENT DEPUTY MINISTER

Premier Lorne Calvert today announced the appointment of Lily Stonehouse as Deputy Minister of Environment effective May 1st, 2003.

Ms Stonehouse has been with the Government of Saskatchewan since 1993. She has served as the Assistant Deputy Minister of Post-Secondary Education and Skills Training and most recently, the Associate Deputy Minister of Saskatchewan Learning. Ms Stonehouse holds a Masters of Adult Education from St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia.

"I am extremely pleased an individual of Ms Stonehouse's experience and commitment has accepted this challenging and demanding position," Calvert said.
