News Release - December 1, 2005 TIM LILBURN SHARES HIS SUCCESS STORIES
As a participant in Saskatchewan Learning's Centennial Speakers Bureau, Tim Lilburn, award-winning poet, teacher and mentor will share his experiences and share his readings with students and community members at St. Thomas More College in Saskatoon.
A Saskatchewan native, Lilburn is a recognized poet, essayist and author of six books. He has been twice nominated for the Governor General's Award in Literature and won for his work in Kill-site. The Centennial Speakers Bureau was created by Learning Minister Andrew Thomson, to bring alive the stories of Saskatchewan's past, present and future. Saskatchewanians and expatriates who have excelled in a field related to the social, cultural, political or economic development of our province or our country have been nominated by their peers to participate in the Centennial Speakers Bureau.
