TIM LILBURN SHARES HIS SUCCESS STORIES

As a participant in Saskatchewan Learning's Centennial Speakers Bureau, Tim Lilburn, award-winning poet, teacher and mentor will share his experiences and share his readings with students and community members at St. Thomas More College in Saskatoon.

A Saskatchewan native, Lilburn is a recognized poet, essayist and author of six books. He has been twice nominated for the Governor General's Award in Literature and won for his work in Kill-site.

The Centennial Speakers Bureau was created by Learning Minister Andrew Thomson, to bring alive the stories of Saskatchewan's past, present and future. Saskatchewanians and expatriates who have excelled in a field related to the social, cultural, political or economic development of our province or our country have been nominated by their peers to participate in the Centennial Speakers Bureau. EDITORS PLEASE NOTE: The Centennial Speakers Bureau presentation from Tim Lilburn is Thursday, Dec. 1st from 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. at St. Thomas More College, Room 344A, 1437 College Drive, Saskatoon. Lilburn will be available for interviews immediately following the presentation.
