News Release - December 1, 2011 SASKGAMING PRESIDENT AND CEO AMONG TOP 100 WOMENTwyla Meredith, CMA, FCMA, President and CEO of the Saskatchewan Gaming Corporation, has been named to the Women Executive Network's 2011 list of Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100. She received her award in the Public Sector Leaders category. "This is a truly significant and well deserved recognition of Twyla's leadership and professional accomplishments," Minister responsible for SaskGaming Ken Cheveldayoff said. "Her leadership has been key in positioning SaskGaming for success in a rapidly changing industry." Meredith has been with SaskGaming since its inception, and is the only female president of a Crown corporation in Saskatchewan. Prior to becoming President and CEO, she was the Senior Vice President, Finance and Administration. As President and CEO, Meredith is responsible for $137 million in annual revenues and more than 1,000 employees. She leads a corporate strategic planning process to create the organization's vision, mission and values, while ensuring the integrity of casino operations and systems. Meredith was named a Fellow of the Society of Management Accountants of Canada in 2009. She was recently awarded the Dr. Robert and Norma Ferguson Award for Outstanding Service by the University of Regina and the University of Regina Alumni Association for her exceptional leadership and service. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Gaming Association, the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Regina Downtown. 2011 marks the ninth anniversary of the Women's Executive Network's Top 100 Awards, which celebrate the extraordinary accomplishments of Canada's female leaders.
