GOVERNMENT ENCOURAGES SIAST AND SGEU TO CONTINUE BARGAINING TALKS

In collaboration with many partners across the province, and through record investments in our first three years, this government has worked to support our post-secondary students right across Saskatchewan.

Because the Government of Saskatchewan is sensitive to and supportive of SIAST students, government is urging that the parties roll up their sleeves, get back to the negotiating tables and come to an agreement - without disrupting the vital work of our students and their families.

It is important for students to know that there will be no disruption in administering student financial assistance including Student Loans, Skills Training Benefit or Provincial Training Allowance payments.
