News Release - September 20, 2010 WHOLESALE TRADE UP IN JULYNumbers showing an increase in Wholesale trade figures for Saskatchewan in the month of July were released by Statistics Canada today. According to the report, Saskatchewan had an increase of 4.2 per cent between June and July 2010 (seasonally adjusted) which is the highest percentage increase in Canada. On an annual basis, wholesale trade was up 6.8 per cent, fourth highest among the provinces. "The improvement in wholesale trade shows Saskatchewan's economy continues to move forward," Enterprise Minister Jeremy Harrison said. "These are modest increases, but significant in terms of how we compare with other provinces."
