FUTURE OF URANIUM TO BE PRESENTED TO GOVERNMENT IN SEPTEMBER

Energy and Resources Minister Bill Boyd today released a letter from Dan Perrins, Chair of The Future of Uranium in Saskatchewan public consultation process, indicating that his final report is nearing completion and will be presented to the provincial government by September 14, 2009.

"Mr. Perrins has done excellent work in engaging the people of Saskatchewan in this important debate, and I look forward to seeing the results of his work," Boyd said.

Boyd said he plans to release the report as quickly as possible after it is received, but said the government will take a few weeks to consider its recommendations and its response to those recommendations.
