BY-ELECTION IN CARROT RIVER VALLEY

Voters in the riding of Carrot River Valley will be going to the polls on June 26th, 2003.

Premier Lorne Calvert called the by-election today. The riding became vacant in February.

"It is important that the people of the northeast are represented in the legislature."

"I would be happy to see a government member elected who could bring forward the needs of the Carrot River constituency and contribute to the strong economy and province that we are building as a government."
